Test brew of Ilkley Pale

half a tonne of the finest Marris Otter malted barley

Afternoon everyone!

We are test brewing Ilkley Pale today on our new Brewhouse and a few pictures to show you how we do it!
First is a very large hopper full of marris otter malted barley, and this is mashed into the mashtun - fantastic smell as it goes in!

Once mashed for 80 minutes or so we will start the run off and sparge - see next blog!
