Beer Society Night: Friday 19th August

Roll up roll up, there’s beer to be drunk and brewers to be met! For those of you who haven’t yet added the date to your diary, or realised that at the end of this week it will in fact be Friday the 19th, we are fast approaching our next Beer Society Evening.
Following the success of past events, we’re running our penultimate society night of 2011, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Meet the brewers: Chris and the team will be ready to welcome you from 5.30pm, and you will be welcome to have a look around the brewery, whilst of course supping on our award winning brews! We will be talking-the-ears-off any who dare listen, about how we do what we do, why we do it and what we’ll be doing in the future. This night should appeal to you if A) you like beer, B) are interested in how it’s made, and C) want to know more about Ilkley Brewery… what’s that? We had you at “A”… righto!
Our whole range will be available for you to sample, for the staggeringly reasonable sum of £2 per pint. We start at “home-time”, and finish when it’s time to go home or when there’s no more beer – whichever happens first! So maybe you’re a fan of Mary Jane, our flagship American Pale session ale, but you’ve never tried the wolf in sheep’s clothing that is the Lotus IPA? Or perhaps you’ve heard rumours about the rich and satisfying Ilkley Black? Maybe you stumbled across our seasonal Ilkley Summer on a blustery Yorkshire day recently, and just want to get you some more of that tropical refreshing goodness? New to the area or new to the beers? Take a trip down Ashlands Road to the new and improved Brewhouse and see where the magic happens this Friday.
We look forward to seeing you, and to raising a glass of the good stuff!
